Joël & Ala’s Wedding – Roedde House, Vancouver, BC

This past Saturday was a glorious day for a wedding. I had the honour of spending the day with Joel, Ala and their closest family & friends in an intimate wedding celebration at the Roedde House Museum. The sun was bright, the air was warm, it really was the perfect weather for a Vancouver wedding. The ceremony took place in the parlour of the heritage home, followed by photos taken in Barclay Square. The couple and I along with Ala’s parents took our time creating photographs around various places in the west end and Stanley Park before heading to The Teahouse for the reception.

Steamworks & Gastown Engagement Lifestyle Session – Hilary & Chuck

Hilary Smith was the winner of my engagement session draw a couple of months ago. I had posted “5 reasons you should do an engagement session” and talked about why engagement photos were so important. At the end of the post, I had asked readers to share what their ultimate engagement session would be and drew a name for a free session! Hilary had mentioned craft beer in a cozy pub – so when we planned our session together, we decided that after a walk around Gastown, we would hit Steamworks for that beer.
